Thanksgiving 2012

Quick post here, as I’ve got to get up at 4:30 tomorrow morning for a flight to Seattle for work.

Last weekend I audio toured lower Manhattan:

Sandy recovery work is still underway down there:

I spent Thanksgiving at the home of a childhood friend in DC, where I got to know this cat. His name is Drago.

The stuffing, with brussels sprouts included, was incredibly tasty.

Black Friday — my family was celebrating Thanksgiving a day late back in northwest Washington State, and I had a chance to chat with everyone on the phone. It was rainy out there, but sunny in DC, where I was at. My girlfriend and I ventured out on a stroll through Rock Creek Park. Throughout the walk, leaves were gradually fluttering down from the trees. It was remarkably beautiful.

The next day, we decorated an apt-optimized xmas tree.
